Print Quality and Lightfastness
These high quality prints are created from photographs taken on fine grain professional photographic transparency film, most often Fuji Velvia slide film. The slides are scanned to produce high resolution digital images which are then tweaked on the computer by the artist using Adobe Photoshop software. When the images reach the artist's vision for the scene depicted, they are printed using an Epson Stylus Pro 7600 or 9600 printer, depending on the final print size. Epson Ultrachrome archival inks are used exclusively. Prints are available on matte, canvas or semi-gloss archival papers.
Research indicates that prints created in this way, when kept under glass and out of direct sunlight for long periods of time, have a preliminary light fastness rating of about 100 years.
